On the morning of May 29, 2024, B’Laofood Limited Company held its 1st Base Trade Union Congress for the term 2023 - 2028. With the special participation of the leadership from the Bao Loc City Labor Confederation, Mr. Nguyen Van Manh - Chairman of the Bao Loc City Labor Confederation; Ms. Vu Thi Ngoc Thuy - Member of the Executive Committee of the Bao Loc City Labor Confederation; and Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Thanh - Member of the Executive Committee of the Bao Loc City Labor Confederation attended and directed the Congress. In addition, there were 50 official delegates, including members from the office bloc, production bloc, and workers representing 414 company members who also participated.

After nearly a year since its establishment, B’Laofood Limited Company has entered into stable operation. During this time, with the guidance, assistance, and support from the Bao Loc City Labor Confederation, the company's leadership has consistently supported and facilitated all activities of the trade union. The number of union members in the company has continuously increased, initially, the Trade Union Executive Committee consisted of 3 comrades and 68 members. As of now, all employees of the company are trade union members, reaching 414 out of 414 members. Consequently, the trade union of B'Laofood Limited Company has made great efforts to effectively fulfill the functions of the trade union organization in representing and protecting the interests of the workers, propagating education, and organizing movements for emulation. Simultaneously, it actively strives to improve, consolidate, develop, and enhance the quality of trade union activities.

In his directive speech at the Congress, Chairman of the Labor Confederation, Mr. Nguyen Van Manh, commended the tireless efforts of the Trade Union Executive Committee and all staff and workers in the company. He emphasized the importance of enhancing the management and supervisory capabilities of the new Trade Union Executive Committee to ensure the implementation of fair policies and the protection of the rights and interests of union members and workers. He also proposed focusing on promoting movements for emulation, encouraging skilled labor and creativity, as well as closely coordinating with specialized units to seek job opportunities and increase income for workers. This is aimed at creating a positive work environment and promoting the sustainable development of the entire labor community.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Minh, directed the Congress to outline four tasks to be carried out in the next term of the company's Trade Union. Firstly, the Trade Union needs to establish connections between the leadership and the workers to promptly meet their needs, desires, and address any concerns they may have. Secondly, the new-term Trade Union needs to leverage its strengths and address weaknesses from the previous term, continually improving the lives of staff and workers, paying more attention to holidays such as International Children's Day, Mid-Autumn Festival, and Christmas to provide meaningful and joyful experiences for all union members. Thirdly, the new Trade Union Executive Committee needs to quickly adapt and update to integrate with movements, upgrading the company's grassroots trade union. Lastly, the Trade Union Executive Committee must set the goal of commemorating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of An Giang Vegetable and Food Joint Stock Company, striving to achieve the title of a successful grassroots trade union, fulfilling annual mission targets.

Among them, Comrade Nguyen Thanh Tuan, who was trusted, esteemed, and highly regarded by the delegates, has become the Chairman of the company's Trade Union for the new term of 2023 - 2028.
