B’Laofood Co., Ltd. collaborated with the Fire Prevention and Fighting Department and the City Police of Bao Loc to organize a fire prevention and rescue drill at the company's factory area

On May 30, 2024, B’Laofood Company Limited collaborated with the Fire Prevention and Fighting Department, Bao Loc City Police, to organize a fire prevention and rescue drill at the company's factory area. The objective of this activity is to comply with the provisions of the Fire Prevention and Fighting Law, as well as to enhance coordination and command capabilities between professional firefighting forces and facilities. The drill also involved participation and support from the Fire Prevention and Fighting Team and Bao Loc City Police.

Disseminating some information about Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Operations

Prior to this, the Fire Prevention and Fighting Department of Bao Loc City, together with the company's Fire Prevention and Rescue Command Team, organized an information session and guidance on fire prevention. They deployed firefighting teams and outlined fire incident handling procedures for the staff and employees working at B’Laofood Company Limited.

Disseminating the use of Firefighting Equipment

In the hypothetical event of a fire, the firefighting forces of B’Laofood Company Limited promptly implemented necessary measures. They activated the alarm system, cut off electricity to the affected area, and immediately contacted the base firefighting team, Fire Police 114, and City Police to report the fire incident. The firefighting team deployed firefighting equipment such as CO2 extinguishers, AB powder extinguishers, along with firefighting water pipes and pumps in the area to extinguish the blaze. Simultaneously, the rescue team carried out rescue and first aid tasks for the injured, as well as relocated assets away from the danger zone.

Meanwhile, the Fire Prevention and Fighting Department of Bao Loc City deployed 02 fire trucks, 01 rescue vehicle, 01 specialized pumping vehicle along with firefighting police officers. They closely coordinated with the base firefighting forces to deploy teams and swiftly utilize water hoses. The medical department also provided assistance in treating individuals affected by smoke inhalation. After approximately 30 minutes, the hypothetical fire was successfully controlled and extinguished, ensuring the safe rescue of all individuals involved.

After completing the drill, the Fire Prevention and Fighting Department of Bao Loc City, along with the company's leadership team, Fire Prevention and Rescue Command Team, organized a meeting to evaluate. The drill was meticulously prepared and conducted seriously, ensuring safety and compliance with the specified requirements and techniques. The firefighting forces at the facility demonstrated proficiency, flexibility, and effective coordination, marking a positive step forward in their ability to respond to emergency situations.

In his speech at the evaluation meeting, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan - Deputy Director of the company, expressed gratitude to the Fire Prevention and Fighting Department and the City Police of Bao Loc for their support and coordination in organizing the drill. He emphasized that the success of the drill had significantly contributed to raising awareness of fire prevention and firefighting among the company's staff and employees, as well as developing necessary skills for self-protection and evacuation in case of fire emergencies. He also emphasized the importance of enhancing the readiness and response capabilities of the firefighting forces at the facility, along with effectively handling emergency situations such as fires, explosions, and rescue operations.
